Pleasant City Break Hotel
Reasonable hotel but broken shower head holder bracket was annoying. Lack of fire regulations in room and only one electrical socket only came as a surprise. Fortunately one of us had a double adaptor to charge our phones! Hotel in a quiet location but 10-15 minute walk to the Grotenmarkt.

Great location, future repairs will make it better
Hotel is in a great location especially during Christmas time with the markets a few blocks away! Staff was very friendly & the hotel is in the process of being renovated, however room was very basic & plain, bathroom was in need of work. Walls were really thin & could hear coughing all night long from rooms adjacent & across the hall along with the elevator alarm in the hallway. BUT... Hotel was very reasonably priced though & the Irish pub next door is great for a late night drink.

Upon arrival no one was at the desk. I had to wait for half hour for someone to show up. Finally a cook from the kitchen came out and check me in. Then I went to my room and found out that there were poor amenities like there were no towels, the TV didn’t work, no coffee maker, no drinking water bottle, no refrigerator, and poor lighting as there were no power outlets for headlights.
