The location is great and convenient, and half a block away from the subway, with an easy walk to Central Park and Times Square. The hotel is nice, and my view from my corner room was lovely. On the downside, you could barely walk around the bed, as there was only about a foot of space. There really was no place to put the suitcase, except on the window seat. The sink is in the hallway outside of the bathroom, with barely three inches of space around the sink and no place to hang your hand-towel. The shower was nice, but the toilet was problematic, as the tank was set up to fill only half-way and didn't flush well. The AC worked well. One of the worst parts of this hotel is the elevator system. Instead of just having a button to summon the elevator and a button inside to choose your floor, you have to go through a menu on the screen, which required a learning curve. I'm tech savvy, and it still took me a few minutes to figure it out. An older person who is not used to such tech would have been at a total loss. 15 minute wait times for one of the four elevators when comign down was not unusual in the afternoon or early evening. Every one of the guests I spoke with complained about it. Also, my room wasn't turned over till very late in the afternoon, which was rather frustrating, since that's when you want to take a nap and get some rest.
