Good 6.0
Location was awesome. Easy to walk anywhere in Dublin and only 2 blocks from pick-up points for bus transportation to airport as well as hop on/hop off buses. The staff was very friendly and helpful with basically anything you could ask for. The building was the problem. Keeping in mind that we were on the 4th floor, hot water for showers was horrible. Had to let water run for at least 15-20 minutes to get hot. Hot water would last for about 60 seconds and turn cold for 60 seconds and then turn hot again. And by hot, I mean slightly better than warm. Room was definitely much much smaller than depicted in pics, but maybe it was just this particular room. Carpet was very worn through and walls were in old disrepair condition. We paid a over $600 USD for a 4 night stay. This was definitely not a good value for the money. Others have posted about noise. This is no joke. Club across the street gets going about midnight and stays loud till about 4AM. Normally, this isn't an issue for me, but it was definitely louder than i'm used to and it did interrupt sleep. Again, great location and staff but building was in need of a LOT on TLC.

Poor 2.0
BEWARE if you want to sleep at night!
Room conditions very good. Continental Breakfast superb! Kitchen n desk staff top of the line. BEWARE! Night Club directly across the street. From dark till almost dawn ongoing club goers noises including shouting and much drunken behaviors. Unbelievable the numbers of people lining up to go in and out. HARD TO GET A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP. I would never stay at Albany House again. Sad the night club across the street rained our Dublin hotel experience!!!

Exceptional 10.0
Central location in a lovely hotel.
Albany house is located in a great place so you can walk to most any attraction downtown. The rooms are lovely and breakfast was great.

Fair 4.0
You don’t want a room at the front!
Perfectly nice hotel, but like all of the hotels in Harcourt street, it is opposite a night club - so if your at the front you need earplugs or to sleep with earphones and the radio on.

Very good 8.0
Nothing extra ordinary
Hotel like a big B&B, although indicated no lift one should bear in mind the hotel have six floors to climb if on top floor. Also no choice even with supplement, continental breakfast( as also stipulated in booking confirmation)
