Madison Carrington Apartments

A great apartment, we bring less clothes and landury is there

The rooms have been renovated on a budget and it shows. The main bedroom window was full of cracks and is not sound/weather proof. The second bedroom windows have layers of double sided tape to keep them sealed. The balcony is a selling feature but have no furniture to sit on and the railings are perished and failling apart. Receptionust was lovely and friendly. If i had paid the full asking price i would have been angry. At the discounted rate you can get better value else where. Sadly the cleanliness is lacking and the external noise is horrible. Sydney CBD has become very dirty which was disappointing and make it feel like an unsafe area. In all honesty i left within a few hours of arriving and found another hotel for my trip. I would suggest avoiding this place. I see it is listed as 4 star on here due to ammenities. In reality there are nicer 1 star motels around.

Reception remained unmanned from 11.30am through 1pm so I couldn't leave my bag there before the 2pm check-in.

The apartment was spacious, well equipped, clean and centrally located. The outside area was poorly maintained. Double glazing would help with the traffic noise.

Very spacious. Beds very comfortable, receptionist delightful. Excellent security and excellent position. Only improvement would be somewhere to put the soap in the shower. Would definitely stay there again

Property location was great and the apartment itself was spacious and well appointed, HOWEVER, the apartemnt had not been cleaned very well. There were un washed trays and crumbs in the oven and drawers under the oven. There was spilled sugar on the bench tops. Under thebeds and lounges there were items and wrappers that had been overlooked. The balcony was disgustingly filthy with cobwebs, a dead plant and dust and debri. None of the doors or balcony glass had been cleaned and were smeared with fingerprints. The coffee table in the loungeroom was dirty. As it was after hours on the Friday and over the weekend there was no one available at the reception desk. Overall the apartment was great, but the cleaners need to be sacked....

The Madison is very tired, the Owner are not and have not invested anything in the common areas. The balconies are filthy and smoking still seems a common practice. It is a fabulous location and the Receptionist is a delight.

It was clean and close to the city and transport that I needed

Totally excellent quality apartment at this price point. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Reception/management (Dovile) also better than excellent. She is very friendly and helpful, very good communication. Wynyard station and supermarkets very close by.

Great spot, nice apartment for a good price. Recommended to anyone looking for a place to stay in Sydney
