Perfect Place for 2 Couples
We loved our 5-night stay at AKA! The hotel is conveniently located near 2 metro stops and is walking distance to most DC sites. The spacious 2 bd/2 ba suite felt like an apartment and was perfect for 2 couples. The full kitchen was nice for coffee and breakfast and the lobby bar was a lovely place to pop into at the end of the day. Everyone at the desk was friendly and helpful. Our stay couldn't have been better.

AKA White House - The place to Stay!
This is one of the most dazzling properties to stay in with family and/or solo if you want the home experience. I was able to eat in my kitchen, enjoy my own amenities in lieu of having to eat out each morning. The team was welcoming, the facility neat, clean and lovely! The room needs updating, but overall was clean and comfortable and we were a family of 5. An A plus is that it is conveniently located to main attractions and a wide range of places to eat all at walking distance.

The room was nice and spacious and the location is great. However the majority of the staff is rude and unhelpful. They have no knowledge of the area or anything near by. Lots of unnecessary attitude. The cost of parking is astronomical. The bathrooms have no ventilation so your items are just humid and wet that are in the bathroom. If you are looking to actually cook in the kitchen bring your own stuff. Which obviously is not feasible traveling. The kitchen is poorly stocked with anything to actually cook.
