Unacceptable Noise & Security Issue: My room was adjacent to a function area, and I endured high-volume music pumping through the walls until night. This lack of consideration for guest comfort is shocking. Worse, having to walk through a crowd of drunken party attendees to access my room felt deeply uncomfortable and unprofessional. The placement of guest rooms next to large, loud events is a major operational failure.

Dear Customer Care, We stayed at Clarion Hotel Post, Gothenburg on January 3–4. We appreciate this hotel and consider it one of the best in Gothenburg – our previous visit in November was excellent. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet the same standard. Here is our feedback: Housekeeping: The room smelled unpleasant on arrival. Cups were not cleared on the second day, and when we requested replacements, we received small cups without coffee refill and a dismissive attitude at reception. Booking communication: Despite booking two nights, we were called on Saturday to check out – a clear miscommunication. Upgrade: At check-in, we were told we’d receive a double room at no extra cost. At check-out, we were told we were “being offered this,” and when I clarified, I received a curt response. Parking: When asking to extend parking, we were told to arrange it ourselves, despite having late check-out. Breakfast: When ordering an omelet, we were met with an unfriendly tone from staff. We understand mistakes happen, but these issues made our stay less positive. We hope you review these points, as we truly like your hotel and want to return. Thank you for your time. Fantastisk hotel midt i byen og lige ved siden af togstationen 😊 Et lækkert hotel med masser af atmosfære og virkelig god service. Morgenmaden havde alt, hvad man kan drømme om. Vi benyttede også spaen, som er tilknyttet hotellet. Den var ikke så stor, men havde rigtig god energi og var både lækker og afslappende – ren selvforkælelse. Alt i alt meget tilfredse med det hele 😊

Förväntningarna var höga, inte minst eftersom hotellets entré ger ett exklusivt intryck. Bemötandet från personalen upplevdes dock inte som neutralt och likvärdigt. Ett par långa svarta hårstrån i sängen samt en gropig madrass drog ner helhetsintrycket avsevärt. Frukosten motsvarade heller inte förväntningarna. Den var inte undermålig, men saknade exempelvis färsk fisk och färskpressad dryck, vilket ofta erbjuds på hotell i den klassen. Att parkeringshuset ligger cirka 450 meter från hotellet, särskilt vid sen ankomst, var dessutom bristfälligt kommunicerat. Tyvärr fanns inte ork att ta upp detta på plats pågrund av personalens bemötande.
