Could Not Have Asked for More
Wonderfully quaint hotel minutes walking to market center, Plönlein, entrance to Tower Wall. You are right in middle of Old Toen Rothenburg. The owner was wonderfully accommodating and staff could not be friendlier. Room was spacious enough and tile floor for two large dogs (50 and 30 kg) and back exit of hotel led to exit in Tower Wall to park for walking them. Parking garage for 15 euros a night. No electric kettle in room but no need as breakfast in first floor cafe comes with room. Really wonderful place.

First night was amazing. Wasted most of second/last day their trying to do laundry I was told that morning would be no problem. Second had less than agreeable checkout initially over wasting my time there when they wanted me to pay full price for amenities/staff that caused 4+ hrs of wasted time. Overall good place to stay but needs some communication improvements & I wish the back patio door would close as it made hallways drafty/cold.

The room was very tiny and dark. The cupboard where you needed to store your luggage did not even have a light. Upon check in we were offered a larger room for a significant up charge. In discussions with other guests, room changes did not involve additional costs. Breakfast was overcrowded and chaotic although the lady in charge did her best to accommodate everyone. The towels were in dire need of replacement. The young lady at checkout was very friendly and helpful.

Disappointed
Prices quoted on hotels.com differed from price charged when booking in. Hotel did not care and we could take it or leave it. Arrived late did not give us much choice. No fridge in room, no Airconditioning. Tv did not work, no tea or coffee in room. Nowhere after 8.00pm to get a drink or assistance with the tv. Clean but overpriced.
