The rooms are quite dated and old, however, the room was spotless and quite clean. Nice comfy big bed. If the hotel had a significant refresh, it would be a very nice place and it is in a great location - right next to train & quick walk into town for the Brindley theatre!

This hotel is a good option if you wanna visit Liverpool but not pay Liverpool prices. The staff are friendly and the amenities are great. I would say however this is a very man heavy hotel, I didn’t see another female staying the entirety of our stay, a lot of workers it seems. And although never encountered any untoward behaviour, it felt slightly uncomfortable. I’m happy I was staying with my partner and not solo.

Nice staff. I arrived just before the bar closed at about 9-11pm so can't give a review on that. The front desk was staffed 24/7 by at least one member of staff (and a decent chunk of cats, not sure if they were owned by the property or not). Room itself was a little old, but absolutely fine for the price that I paid for the trip. I booked this to be close to the train station for my trip the next day, and for that this location couldn't be better. Breakfast was alright, nothing too amazing but fine if you just need something to eat when you get up.

Great stay in the Runmere! Room was perfectly adequate, it could do with a lick of paint but that didn't bother us at all for the price. It was clean, comfortable and had a good powerful shower. Staff are great, cheerful and helpful. Food was typical pub grub (pizza, fish & chips, burgers etc) and was very tasty and well priced. Drinks prices were great and some good 2 for 1 offers. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a cheap short stay.

We had two rooms, one was very good whilst the other was in need of some refurbishment in the bathroom, but we understood this was in progress. The bed was very comfortable, it was quiet and the shower was good. We didn’t try the food but it looked good and food and drink was attractively priced. Reception staff very friendly.

Very conveniently located for the station - Liverpool 20 minutes away, so a great low cost option for Liverpool. The staff were pleasant and the room OK but I couldn't give it the highest marks because it wasn't in tip top condition eg. grout in bathroom. Not awful or anything but I need to save the top marks to award those that are faultless. It's worth noting that it is motel style so your bedroom door leads outside not in a corridor, which as a woman traveller did concern me slightly but wasn't a problem on this occasion.

I had read some awful reviews however the motel like place was completely fine if a little dated. Parking was easy and the receptionist took care of it. I assume parking was included in the price. I didn’t eat there. I had a fabulous night sleep. Overall I’d happily stay again.
