Casa de la Noche is a charming delight in every way. The staff and owner Barbara are lovely and helpful, and the rooms and common areas are a feast for the eyes. A full breakfast is served every day in the common space allowing for conversation with other guests. The location is perfect..on a quiet street just blocks away from the center, with resturants, attactions, and shops near-by. I can not say enough.

It was a wonderful property with lots of character. We especially appreciated, Barbara, who let us into her hotel at 1:30 in the morning. She spent lots of time getting us settled and comfortable into our room. This was especially appreciated because we had been up for 24 hours straight. The decor throughout was colorful and cheerful, unlike so many other options I viewed, This, along with the wonderful staff, provided a welcoming environment. An interior plant-filled courtyard is used to serve the delicious morning breakfast, and can be used at leisure throughout the day. I’ll definitely stay there again!

An oasis in the middle of town

A lovely stay at a lovely property. An oasis in the middle of San Miguel. Great location, great breakfast and super friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the dragonfly room. Air conditioning was good . Hot water in the shower took some time to heat up so be patient. Also, there were windows on the ceiling which allowed early morning light to come in so it was hard to keep the room dark after dawn. They have a nice honour bar available and lots of lovely artwork on the walls and comfortable couches to relax.

I prefer to stay in smaller and more unique places than llarge hotels. This casa offered delicious breakfasts with native dishes, beautifully decorated with native art, and a knowledgeable staff recommending things to do and places to eat. It is well situated to walk to most places. If you are looking for a pool, gym and business center - this isn’t for you. If you are looking for relaxing, local flavor and perfectly situated, you can’t beat the Casa de Noche.
