quality time
Great hotel and great staff. The room was nice and surprised with the washroom being so nice without water staines!! I was very disappointed with the breakfast. So many options for a quick breakfast that could have happened, but was not available ( individual cereal boxes, frozen pancakes, toast, have a staff to make up the plate for a hot breakfast) We originally picked this hotel so I would have to go somewhere else for breakfast. The pool was fun with the water features! Over all it was a pleasant way to have Mum and Son quality time.

Poor
Pubic hair in the shower. Cockroaches or crickets in the lobby. Cigarette butts in the elevator. Overall a horror show. Not worth the cost of staying here. Paid for a king sized bed. This room is a queen.

Poor
The outside garbage was overflowing, the floors were dirty in lobby, the bag we were given for our "included" breakfast was disgusting. Manager was rude and the couch in our room was filthy, as was the floor in elevator and the floors in front of the elevator. Very expensive for what you got!

A new hotel so very clean and professional looking. But there seems to be some lacking in efforts to please guests and respond to requests. I called earlier in the week to ask that my room and the other room I booked for family were connected, on the ground floor if possible, and that no maid service is required due to the pandemic. At check-in, I was told there are no ground floor suites (why that wasn’t clarified earlier?), was put across from each other, but the access didn’t work so we were eventually at opposite sides of the floor. Saturday evening we returned to find that the maid had been in to service the rooms. We had already disinfected the space to our comfort, laid out our own bedding and towels, and we specifically asked that nobody else enter the suites after we checked in! I was assured that “there was no housekeeping service during the pandemic”. What changed?! This is not something to make a mistake with! Lastly, my room is right where the roof of the conference centre roof connects to the building. The seagulls seem to love gathering there and serenading guests as early as 4:30am. I did not get much sleep.

Bare bones service for regular price
When booking our room online it said that it included breakfast. We basically an apple, and a cold hard bagel in a brown paper bag...and only 2 for 4 people since they ran out (Then went to Tim Hortons and had to pay to have an actual breakfast) We also requested a cot (which was one of the options) for one of our children when we booked. When we got to the hotel, they said they didn't even have any cots. With Covid19 pretty much the whole hotel was shut down. The pool, the fitness room and any public areas. As I do realize we have a pandemic...I think the cost of the room should have been adjusted since most amenities could not be offered. At least even gift cards or something for breakfast at Tim Hortons since they said bfast was included!
