Good hotel and value for money .
Location was a bit intimidating on first day but eventually we accustomed to the area. It is nearer from Victoria railway. Only note that there is no ramp from the sidewalk to the hotel lobby so ppl in wheelchair and babies in strollers need to be carried up manually.

neighborhood filled with immigrants..
The area felt like a lot of immigrants reside there, we took a metro from the nearby station to monostiraki(2 stops away) and my phone got stolen in the metro! Spoke to the security person/ station in-charge and also the ticket counter lady and they were not surprised. one of them told us "it happens everyday every hour, there is a group of professional of xyz nationality thieves who are very skilled". We took cabs(only uber, else very expensive cab rides) The hotel is great but I would choose it only if you want to use cabs for commuting in the city.

Fine hotel, dodgy area
This was good value for two one-night stopovers en route to Aegina. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable enough for one night, though in the room we had on our second stay the air conditioner was noisy, and bed lights didn't work in the first one. Travelling to or from the airport I would strongly recommend using a taxi or the hotel pickup service, as travellers encumbered with luggage are constantly targeted by thieves in and around Victoria metro station - a very dodgy area. After foiling one attempt to steal a wallet and another thief being intercepted with our purse by a heroic passing driver, we had 20 Euros stolen from the ticket machine by a deft artful dodger kid on the way to the airport, and in the crush on the an overcrowded train were targeted by a gang who eventually got both wallet and purse. If you're sensible and aren't carrying several bags you're probably fine.

Great hotel, the staff are really nice, breakfast was good but the bed was very uncomfortable, also the area isn’t the safest but only two train stops from the Acropolis!
