Hotel Plaza Yara - Manuel Antonio
100% would recommend - Loved this place!!
Lovely, comfortable rooms, amazing service, beautiful views, and good breakfast! This hotel is located up in the hills slightly past Quepos (it isn't super close to walk to restaurants/nightlife) BUT I would recommend this hotel to anyone that loves the jungle, animals, quality service, and an overall peaceful, delightful experience. It is located right in the middle of the (semi-) jungle, which makes it a tranquil, beautiful place to stay (I especially loved the calming noises of the wildlife at night). Roger, at the front desk was AMAZING and brought the customer experience to another level (he always knows all of the guests names!). If you plan on visiting Manuel Antonio National Park, his tour is definitely worth the money - he is a biologist, so he is a wealth of flora/fauna knowledge and can spot even the tiniest insect on a leaf up in the trees, in addition to being just an all-around pleasant guide. To top it off, the adorable hotel cat, Savanna, not only rules the roost, she also is super friendly and even pays a visit to your room if you're open to it. Long story short - 100% recommend this place.

Great place to stay
We had a great experience during our stay. Our room was spacious and had a good view of the pool. Convenient location close to Manual Antonio National park and the town of Quepos. The staff were nice and very friendly. We appreciated the sweet little gift they gave us at check out. Breakfast was good and quickly made to order.

Amazing hotel
What an amazing place to stay. We were treated on arrival by Roger and shown around by Sandro. The hotel has a lovely art gallery, a lounge area for viewing the local wild life, a air conditioned quiet room and a terrace with two pools and a hot tub. Our suite backed onto the pools and had a lovely private outdoor lounge. The rooms are massive! Ours was equipped with a fridge, microwave and a coffee machine with fresh coffee grounds. Service from all the staff was amazing and a gift on leaving is an excellent touch. One comment on the area; due to the narrow twisting roads, you do need to drive or take a bus to the local attractions but the location of the hotel was excellent for us.

Truly unique and exceptional hotel
I travel a lot for work so for a hotel to impress me it has to be exceptional. Hotel Plaza Yara is exceptional! It is in a great location, quiet, very clean and the room was like a suite. Bathroom was massive. Artwork everywhere was very tasteful and gave it a real boutique feel. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Definitely would stay there again.
