Having stayed at the K once or twice a year for the best part of a decade I was shocked by the drop in standards. My room type was unavailable on check-in, a salad took more than an hour to be served, and a meal in the bar was returned inedible. My room type was downgraded with little apology, toilet paper was not replenished in the bathroom, and housekeeping was not up to standard. This is no longer a 4* property.
