Great hotel in a perfect location
The staff were very friendly and gave us clear instructions for the parking which is just behind the hotel. Unfortunately the single lift was painfully slow which detracted from an otherwise fantastic arrival. The room itself looked really nice with the only thing letting it down being that the windows seemed to be single glazed, which you really noticed in February, and the balcony wasn't usable, though that was mostly down to the weather. At least the heating kept the room comfortable despite this. The room service was pretty quick and the good we ordered was absolutely delicious and well worth a try for at least one evening. We found the hotel location to be pretty central showing for walking into the centre, up to the castle, and the national trust white cliffs. Just be prepared for a bit of hill on the latter two. All in all, the hotel was pretty good though it could do with some improvements to make it that extra bit nicer.
