I visited during the slack season between skiing and summer activities. The Selkirk was was in mint condition and staffed appropriately for the low volume of guests. The staff is what made the stay enjoyable. Very friendly and helpfull and proctive in making sure our stay was a good one

I really appreciated Joe at the front desk. We originally booked 1 night thru Expedia as that was all that was presented as an option. When I went looking for our next night's stay location I found that I could again book a night at Selkirk. When I went to ask Joe about perhaps not having to change rooms he said that he had already taken care of it. He saw the new booking and made certain that we would stay in the same room. Very proactive! He was also very helpful with questions on activities in the area and places to visit. Great employee and a wonderful stay.
