Great service at a beautifully restored property
What a delightful surprise our stay at the Tom Tom Suites was this past week. The front desk manager, Cenan, went above and beyond on every request we made and many we didn't make. The hotel was gorgeous and our upgraded room huge. The breakfast was tasty. All staff we encountered were friendly and efficient.

The buffet breakfast is to die for and the staff is incredible...especially the front-desk person Sinan. He is the nicest and most helpful person ever. He makes your experience unmatched! Quiet area near the Italian consulate, easy to walk anywhere.

Maximum one star
Friendly staff. Air con works well. Strong shower with good drainage. Quiet and fast elevator. Comfortable bedding. Soft and absorbent towels. Plenty of local specialties for breakfast. Warning: very very steep climb via an smelly alley to the Main Street in one direction and broken sidewalk the other direction. I give a “1” star because the private tour guide the hotel recommended at few hundred Euro a day is a scam. Without going into much detail about his lack of forthcoming info. It’s so upsetting the guide together with few shop owners try to strong arm and relentlessly pressure us to buy things when i repeatedly said no. I have experienced this tactics in few other countries, It’s part of their culture and ways, I understand. Although I don’t believe the private guides are employees of the hotel, but when it’s highly recommended and fees were added to the hotel bill, to me, it’s part of the hotel. it is unbecoming of the management at TomTom not to protect us, their hotel guests from unwanted solicitations and substandard guides.

This hotel and all its staff are lovely. My son had stayed there last year and recommended it to us. We loved it and will stay there again any time. Only issue is the steep streets around the hotel for those who cannot walk up and down stairs, but that is most of Istanbul anyways.

Best hotel in Istanbul. Exceeded expectations.
Simply the best. The people at Tomtom are masters of hospitality. Truly a 5-star accommodation: -Comfortable, spacious units. Best sleep we had all trip, large bathrooms, great mini bar, a pillow menu (!) -Incredible breakfast (can’t emphasize this enough, best we had all trip and the presentation truly makes you feel special) -The gentlemen at Nicole upstairs really set this experience apart, as well. The view from up there is exquisite (photos attached) and they cater to every need, expeditiously -The location. In a crazy, bustling city like Istanbul— Tomtom is situated in the best possible neighborhood. Tucked away from the fray, it’s convenient to get anywhere in the city and is so quiet/relaxing. The surrounding shops and restaurants were so cute, as well. I don’t know exactly when we’ll be back in Istanbul, but when we are, I know exactly where we’re staying: Tomtom Suites.
