It’s a bit far from historical center , a good 15 min walking . No AC on bedroom and the hotel is not that old ! Great breakfast.

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the old town, safe neighborhood, and easily walkable. Nice and helpful staff. Hotel is a bit dated with no air conditioning. Blinds have small holes for ventilation, no window or door screen, so can be steamy during a hot summer day. Next time in the area, will probably choose a hotel closer to the old town and with better air ventilation during the summer time.

WIFI was advertised, but only has the citywide wifi, not a hotel system. Maids only left one new towel for 2 people. Desk handed me another one instead of taking it to the room. Hotter than Hades in our room.

Cozy and pleasant.
We have a family of four and got three rooms connected together (with each of the additional rooms just enough space for a single bed and a bathroom). All rooms are very small but our teenage boys are actually pretty happy to each have their own private space. It's a bit of walk to town but not too bad. Overall pretty happy with the stay.

We stayed in a number of places in Germany December 2018. This hotel was by far our favourite place. All the staff were wonderful, helpful and very friendly. One day our daughter did not go for breakfast and a staff came and asked if she wanted to take some food for her breakfast, even thought breakfast time was over. Our daughter had to return to school but we did not think to let the staff know she would not be there. Our room was a quadruple room which was very nicely laid out, plenty of room to unpack and keep our belongings organized. The bathroom was well laid out for four people with lots of areas to hang towels and place personal toiletries. All four beds were well lit and there was a small coffee table and two arm chairs for optional sitting. We also enjoyed the balcony. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Our table was reserved for us each morning which was another pleasant surprise. the location was great. We were a short walk to the train station as well as the old town. We would definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone going to Rothenburg.
