Very helpful staff. The hotel is one block away from Kyoto Station and Kyoto Tower! Very convenient to take the train and bus to all the major shrines and sightseeing locations. Very affordable and great for solo travelers! The hotel also has their own coffee shop which is great for coffee lovers! Great way to start the day. Thank you APA Kyoto, I highly recommend. I would love to come back here if I ever visit Kyoto again!

Having stayed at several Japanese business hotel before, I’m aware of the typical small toilet. But this single room’s toilet is even much smaller! When standing in the bath, my shoulder will be touching the shower curtain. When sitting on the toilet bowl, my feet touches the door. The wifi was also very slow. The pillow has a little bit of musty smell. I’m now worried about my next check-in on 25 Nov…

A bargain
Very clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I forgot my suitcase in the room, and they were kind enough to retrieve it and keep it at the front desk until I could return for it a few hours later. The room was small and there was no instant coffee, but at the price I paid, I can’t really complain.
