Beautiful room with staff who are eager to please in an incredibly central location close to everything. Air conditioning was a bit warm (for an American who likes a cold room) but I managed comfortably. The doors are thin and you can hear music and people in the hallway, but the staff was happy to turn the volume down at night and no lingering noise issues. However those sensitive to sound should take note.

The hotel is conveniently located near to a Tram Stop T1, centrally located in between Hagia Sophia Mosque and Grand Bazaar. The kebab restaurant down the street serves excellent food. Hotel wise receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was generally well kept and clean.

The Sultanahmet area where The Emerald Mansion is located is a perfect place to stay within easy walking distance to many historical sites or you easily catch the tram or metro to them. There are hundreds of places to eat in the area & some fantastic stores to buy baklava!
