Wonderfully tranquil location with spectacular mountain views of Mount Taygetus & the vicinity. Fabulous accommodation with a romantic feel & a super breakfast choice. Excellent facilities with a first class poolside area. Lovely dining options for an evening meal. Fabulous hosts who made Karen & I feel so very welcome. Will definitely return! 1st Class!

Its in a beautiful area overlooking whole valley including sparta. Restraunt was good, staff very friendly. Wifi was good for most of the trip, but did its moments where given numbet of ppl it would drop. Very quite at night, good trails for hiking too.

The resort is a real diamond of the Greek Tourism Industry! Located in the forest of Taygetos, offers great view to the Lakonian Lowlands & a great sense of tranquility. So much different from what we have mostly seen so far. The natural shadow from clusters of coniferous trees & firs, makes the sun friendly. The mountain breeze allows for lovely sleeping, “air-condition free”. Wood, stone & green woods, form the trademark of the resort, all very well-combined in its architecture. The swimming pool under the trees, makes swimming & sunbathing a ritual. All buildings’ style, fully harmonized with the scenery, emphasizes the beauty of the surroundings. The rooms are spacious, minimally decorated & still very chic. Every detail in the room – even the cupboards’ knobs – is tastefully selected, fitting perfectly with the landscape. All indoor & outdoor areas are clean & tidy. The food is excellent, cooked with taste. But the greatest asset of this resort is the people working there. All the personnel vitalizes the magnificence of the place, making it so different & cozy. Without exception, everybody was particularly polite & professional, dedicated to make every guest feel comfortable & relaxed. Always smiling, even after long working hours, demonstrating that they love to offer rather than being obliged to do so- a rare merit elsewhere-. Ilaeira’s people make the place different &mythical. After all, it might be the place that Castor brought Ilaeira, so that she would never leave

We LOVED this resort. Everything g about this place was great. The people, property and setting of the resort. If you are staying in the area and don’t mind the drive up the mountain you will love your stay.

If you are looking for a mountain resort to hike, enjoy nature, or just relax around the pool you would be hard pressed to find a better place with nicer staff. This hotel has set the bar high when it comes to cleanliness and the welcoming and friendly nature of the staff. This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city

Was beautiful, girl who checked me in extremely friendly and helpful, set me on a great afternoon hike. Unfortunately dinner was a letdown both service and selection/quality

The hotel is perched high on a mountain. It takes 15 minutes of very slow driving from the village st the bottom up the narrow winding roads with many hairpin turns. However the view from the balcony makes you want to stay on and on. Stephanie and Maria were very kind and hospitable. Breakfast was sumptuous even though it is the low season. They make us feel special. It is a perfect place to stay when planning a visit to Mystras, Monemvassia, and the lovely little towns in Mani.

The property has a very calming and serene atmosphere! The staff was especially accommodating and I felt right at home.

We stayed their for two nights and was paradise!!! The room was big and well designed. The pool are was great.
