Great location. Spacious rooms.
Book 2 rooms for 6 people to go to a Penguins game. Rooms were large and clean and sofa beds were comfy. Location was great with tons of bars and restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel
Simply loved our stay. The room are huge with a separate sitting area with comfy beds. located right nearby to baseball and football. A nearby subway will give you a free ride over close to the hockey arena. Very close to the river and riverfront trail system. Said online that parking was $22 a night, but we weren't charged for it. the building is clean and in great condition, the breakfast was good, the staff very polite. The pool is on the small side, but did the trick. The only complaint I had, is that we booked 2 rooms months prior and the girl put us on 2 different floors..... don't know why she would do that. Once we realized it, we went back downstairs to have it corrected. Overall it was a great visit and will look to stay there again the next time I visit Pittsburgh

Horrible wifi and easy-to-fix smaller issues
Unusable wifi, I had this problem with all of my devices – a colleague did too. Nowhere to hang your towels to avoid daily replacement (they encourage you to do this). For some reason they replaced my bar soap every day, seams really wasteful. The water temperature in the shower would not go above lukewarm. Good breakfast, but why do they remove the coffee from the lobby so early?

Just okay but feels dated
Hotel shows major age issues. The North Shore area is bustling, however the nearby highways create rooms that if you cannot handle noise you won't rest. As for the age, rust in the shower and anti conservation policies of replacing hanging towels and a stack of printed receipts for every room.

Disappointed with The Hyatt
I have stayed at many Hyatt hotels and I swear by this franchise but this was by far the worst Hyatt that I have ever been to. This hotel needs serious upgrades. The location it great right in the middle of Pittsburgh and near Heinz Feild, and lots of great restaurants. The hotel lobby is nice but that’s where the buck stops. The room was unacceptable. They claim it’s smoke free and make you sign this thing saying you understand their policy but as soon as we exit the elevator the smell of cigarettes and alcohol is overwhelming. The room was unacceptable, the rug in the room was funky and filthy and the bath tub was unappealing. The shower head was completely rusty and the tub was very dingy. I will not be returning here which is sad because now I have to find a new hotel franchise that’s worth me spending my money on.
