Parkhotel Rüdesheim

We liked the proximity o the Altstadt. We rate the hotel 2 star, bathrooms were below standard. Parking: no access to cars, cars are locked in compound. Hotel was disappointing, would not say there again.

Nice view of the river. Easy access to the train station. Rooms were plain, beds uncomfortable and bathroom was small.

Very convenient to the main sites in town and loved being right on the river. The location was also just across from the boat landing and that made it easy for us. Staff was friendly and breakfast was ample for our family

Rudesheim is a fun city to visit. There are many historical sites, restaurants, and stores. It is also situated on the Rhine River. This property is across the railroad tracks from the Rhine. There are about 50 trains per day going by the hotel. The town is wonderful. The hotel is barely average. Very small bathroom, low and hard beds and noisy streets are negatives. The breakfast is better than average. Service during breakfast is good.

BEWARE...BED BUG!! After a 2 night stay we were covered with bed bug bites. I immediately contacted the hotel to alert them and provided photos. The manager, Ralf Seifer, offered us a partial refund. We had the room for 2 nights plus breakfast plus parking. We told him we thought it was fair to refund the 2 night room rate and that we would accept the charge for the breakfast and parking. We were attempting to be fair considering the disturbing, disgusting and unsettling amount of bed bug bites we sustained. Ralf agreed to credit our original form of payment and then he went dark - we never heard from him again - even after several follow up emails. I have the emails with him and he blamed the Chinese guests per the following email from him: "Dear Mrs xxxx, pleas send me your account number. We will send you Euro 200,- and say sorry for all the inconvinience. Two days before your arrival was Chinese people in the room. We think, that they bring the bed buds in our hotel. We emty now the complete room and clean everything. Sorry again we hope that will be ok for you. With best regards, Ralf Seifer". So the bed bug issue was bad enough, then he blames the "Chinese" guests, then he promises a refund and then he does absolutely nothing. We reached out to Orbitz for help and they were totally unsuccessful which is equally disappointing.The town of Ruedesheim am Rhein is beautiful & lots to do. There are numerous hotels available - we recommend staying elsewhere.

Wry nice hotel overlooking the Rhine and the rail lines. The location was close to the train station, less than a kilometer away. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent with lots of quality choices. We Enjoyed our stay and would book this hotel again if in the area.

Stayed 3 nights at Park hotel and really had a wonderful time. The hotel is old nut clean and well maintained. The staff mostly speaks German but we were able to get by. The free breakfast was good and saved time and money. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station but it wasn't difficult. Would stay there again.

Went with family and booked with double bed, but room is too small. Better to skip Ruidesheim as one night stay.

Nice hotel, good location overlooking the Rhine, noisy trains going by every few minutes. Bring earplugs. Was told river view would be noisy, boy were they right!

Would recommend this hotel. Efficient check in even though we were early. Parking on site great, but there is a charge. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room & bathroom was a little on the small side, but we had the benefit of a balcony. Trains run past all day and night, but we slept well. Breakfast was one of the best. The choice was amazing. We also used tbe restaurant. Menu choices good and food was excellent. Would have liked to see daily specials offered. Reasonable prices. We just had one area that disappointed. It is a non smoking hotel, but although they have outdoor area for eating, there is also an undercover terrace, but that is also given over for smokers. So non smokers are restricted to eating in main restsurant. Hotel in great location and would stay again.
