Convenient location in Angers
The room was very small but adequate. Unfortunately there was a problem with the wast of the washbasin which the hotel solved quickly by giving us access to the next door room. As our return to the hotel was delayed and not going to be within the time limit after a phone call the staff kindly removed our belongings to a secure room to wait our return. Good breakfast.

Great location wonderful staff
We were doing the Loire Bike Trail and this hotel was perfect. They accepted our bikes from the rental company without our being there, stored them until we arrived and then let us lock the bikes up in their back area for easy access in the morning. They are right by the train station and an easy walk to any of the sights in Angers. The staff were unbelievable - even gave us a bag of ice (a precious thing in France) for my son's swollen knee. The restaurant they recommended was out of this world - don't miss it - Brasserie de la Gare - maybe the best meal of our trip. The room for 3 was large enough for all of us and gear, beds were firm, bathroom was clean. The shower is typical of Europe - a small box with closing doors. The shower head wouldn't stay in the down position so I had to hand hold it. Minor inconvenience for a basic, comfortable hotel with genial staff and great location. I will recommend it to others and would stay here again.
