The hotel is in the centre of SF, perfectly located for visiting the city. The check in is via a screen, there are no employees on the spot. The room we got was on the 3rd floor (without elevator, which was no problem for us but can be a challenge with big bags for older people) and was fairly small (difficult to pass by each other) but clean. The bathroom was supernice. There was an A/C, small fridge, hair dryer, TV, heater etc in the room, but no desk or chair or cupboard (no space for it), and it was hard to find a spot for our bags. The furniture was a bit old and worn, but clean. Free wifi (slow) was available.
It was good for us for a weekend, without car (no parking). We enjoyed that there were food shops, coffee shops and restaurants nearby. It all worked fine, but was a bit expensive for the small size of the room. Overall it can be an option for short visits if one only wishes a bed to sleep but not to spend much time in the room.
