The location is excellent, very close to the Panthéon, and Notre-Dame Cathedral is also within walking distance. However, our room was on the first floor facing an interior courtyard, directly across from another area, so we had to keep the blackout curtains closed most of the time for privacy. The room itself was quite small, but the bathroom was clean and well maintained. Overall, the location was definitely the highlight of our stay.

Excellent boutique hotel in great location. Clean room and quiet surroundings. The staff here were above and beyond helpful. Best staff I’ve ever encountered in Paris! I found the room on the small side but that seems to be common in Paris and I’m from Canada so used to much more space. Would definitely stay here again based on the friendly and super helpful staff alone.

We loved our stay! A super cozy and charming little hotel, with a really great location on the edge of the Latin Quarter. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely pool in the basement and a good, fresh breakfast. Highly recommended - we could easily see ourselves staying at the hotel again the next time we visit Paris.

The most wonderful stay I’ve had in Paris! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room comfortable and air conditioned (we stayed during a heat wave) and the pool was a great little bonus. Located just beside the Luxembourg Gardens and within easy walking distance of Saint Germain (would recommend the Saint Germain spritz), the Louvre and Notre Dame. Will certainly be staying here again!

Beautiful boutique hotel situated in the Latin Qtr. Close to the Pantheon, Luxembourg Gardens and Metros. The entire hotel was very clean and comfortable. The AC was very helpful as we were there for a week of 90 plus degree weather. Be sure to book the private pool located in the basement cave. It was very relaxing after a day exploring Paris on foot. 10/10

We stayed 2 nights in a courtyard room. Nice little lobby with a water machine, which was greatly needed with Paris temps near 100. The breakfast was nice and included madeleines, cheese, baguettes, butter, jam, fruit, yogurt, quiche. The front desk arranged for an early morning taxi pick up. The location was great...a block from the Pantheon. Took about 25 min to walk to Seine. 5 min from Luxembourg Gardens. The bathroom was so clean. Bed was comfortable. Very small room. The A/C worked and that was most important.

We had a wonderful stay in this boutique hotel. Rooms were neat and clean, staff was friendly, and attentive, and the location was great (close to restaurants, cafes and many local attractions. The lovely indoor pool was a pleasure to enjoy after a long day touring the city. There are so many hotels in the city it's overwhelming, but you can't go wrong with the Hotel Madeleine de Senlis!

We loved everything about this place! The pool was in a spa-like cave in the basement. The pool could be reserved for one hour ahead of time or open to all guests between 6-8 pm. The Air conditioning was very cool which was greatly appreciated during the 30 degree weather. The lobby was charming with classic French style. The triple room was great for our small family of 3. The room was small but the bathroom was spacious with a tub and shower. The lift/elevator is tiny but to be expected, for a boutique style French hotel. The staff were all outstanding! We spent time in the lobby having the free coffee and pastries. We did not have the breakfast at the hotel, but it looked like a nice add on if you want to keep your morning easy. As for the location, we loved the Latin Quarter and the proximity to Luxembourg Garden, the Pantheon and Notre Dame. There were many great cafes and small shops nearby. Busses were all there for service, but the metros were a bit far for us travelling with a child. We used cars for hire (taxi and Uber) for going to farther places like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre. We were facing street side and heard a little noise from the tavern on the corner on Saturday night otherwise very quiet for our 4 nights stay.

Fantatic hotel in the Latin quarter. Rooms very clean and well-appointed. Staff super helpful and friendly. They had even arranged a harp & carol performance in the lobby for guests, on a couple of nights near to Christmas. Absolutely top notch breakfast, with delicious homemade cakes, museli, bread, salad - as well as usual meats, cheese etc. Eggs cooked on request. Underground pool in atmospheric cellar is small but can be booked to be completely private. Be aware that means you can't just turn up.

My kids and I loved the private pool time, such a nice break from site seeing.
