Wonderful and welcoming!
Fantastic local hotel in the heart of Selcuk. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. A short drive to the attractions. Hotel staff are absolutely welcoming and are ready to make every aspect of your stay perfect. Bed was comfortable. Room and all public areas were clean—especially for COVID. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each evening. The Turkish breakfasts are a must-have! Shower is a little tight by American standards but not anything that should stop you from staying here.

Room conditions was really good, it placed in the shops area so it could be little bit noisy night time but access to everywhere is really comfy.

Within walking distance from the train station and lots of cafes and shops nearby. Hosts are very friendly and breakfast is deliclious. The room is abit rundown and small but still comfortable to stay. We have a balcony which can sit back and enjoy people watching. One drawback is the toilet sliding door. The glass panels are abit transparent which basically can see from outside.

Our 4 night stay at the Urkmez Hotel was exceptional from the minute we arrived. The very warm welcome made us feel like we were visiting friends, and that friendly atmosphere only increased as we got to know the helpful staff. The location was superb. Owners Jimmy & "Juju" spoke perfect English and were very attentive. Our room was spotless, bed was comfy, there were ample hot water and heat, and the abundant Turkish breakfast was fantastic. We would highly recommend the Urkmez Hotel for anyone visting Selcuk and nearby Ephesus.
