Idyllic setting
Scenery is spectacular and location convenient to local attractions. While the room was very clean and the bed comfy, it could use some sprucing--new carpet and furniture, like a love seat with ottomans instead of 2 straight back chairs. The bathroom in particular is in serious need of updating. The dining room was lovely... beautiful view from every table. Kudos to the hotel staff--front desk, dining room hosts, waitstaff, housekeeping--simply the best!!

The service and staff are great but we were really unprepared for how run down and in desperate need of remodeling the rooms are, this was a very expensive 2 night stay and expected so much more. Most likely will not return.

We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing outdoor property. We walked through the woods on a marked trail. We sat in the Adirondack chairs with a back drop of Mountain View’s. We just enjoyed the beautiful crisp air. We dined in the resorts restaurant. No need to travel. We started our day with a free full breakfast. Great service and good variety of meals

A beautiful location. Our dinner last night was wonderful but the breakfast this morning was very poor!!!! We waited almost an hour before our breakfast order was taken. The food was good but the service was terrible.

Perfect place to stay in the White Mountains.
The room is a bit tired but I read that there are planned renovations next spring. I loved the lobby and the included breakfast with the gorgeous view. Everything was clean and we felt safe staying there during Covid. Everyone was wonderful in terms of friendliness and quick and helpful customer service. The pool is beautiful and heated and again, highlights to views. Echo Lake (state park) was less than half a mile away with online same-day reservations available and a great family hike. I would highly recommend!
