Received the e-mail that there was no restaurant, bar, maid service or practically any amenities at the hotel open to the guest the day after we could have cancelled our reservation!! Would not have paid this price for a hotel that basically offered beds, that we had to make, and nothing else. Somoene needs to inform guests before their cancellation day arrives that you are getting none of what is at the resort
Breckenridge was a great anniversary trip for me and my wife! One Ski Hill Place is on the mountain slopes and has great views! The hotel was clean and we enjoyed riding the gondola back into town.
Super friendly staff but unfortunately almost all amenities were closed down due to Covid. Not a huge deal but wish it was right on the website so we would have known. Nice location and rooms are very nice
I understand that navigating COVID-19 had been a challenge for all of us but I found this hotel used it as an excuse to cheapen service. At check-in we were charged the usual $40 "Resort Fee" yet other than the indoor pool, 90% of the amenities were closed down (bowling alley, movie theater, outdoor pools/hot tubs, front desk, concierge service, etc etc). We complied with making our 1hour reservation for using the pool but when we arrived 5 minutes early the pool monitor literally yelled at us. The capacity was 10, the only 2 people there were leaving and we were a party of 4.....making us not near capacity. She was extremely rude and upset everyone in our party. There is really no need for that kind of behavior..... especially when we're paying $40/hour to use the pool at the hotel we already paid for. I'd say their customer service is horrible.
I understand the need to adapt in the times of the pandemic, but the fact that no one was present at the front desk at check in made our experience difficult. When I checked in at a sister property, I received my keys to my condominium and was instructed to proceed to my room. However, when I arrived at the lodge, my keys did not work to open the outer door. When I called Antonio at the original check in station, I was told that he couldn’t help me, but would notify maintenance who “may” be able to get me in my room. Btw, he informed me that maintenance was ten-fifteen minutes away. Mind you, this was occurring at midnight. When I asked if I could just return and get new keys, he told me that he did not have the ability to make new keys, and I would have to take care of it in the morning (if I got in my room). Needless to say, I was not thrilled with the situation.
Check-in desk was moved into different hotel (1 mile distance). Nobody informed us before we arrived. We met a couple there who was waiting there for 30 minutes before figuring out that something was wrong because the sign that check-in place was relocated was not at the front desk. Wifi password was not provided upon the check-in, and there were no instructions in the room so we had to call to get it. Expedia reservation stated that a bottle of wine would be provided free of charge due to our Gold status. It was not in the room when we arrived so we had to call and explain to a front desk person that it should have been provided. After the call they did bring it. After bad experience with settling in the room itself and our one night stay was fine.
Beautiful condo, but no amenities were open, none except for pool which required a 24 hour in advanced notice for a reservation (stayed one day and was not told about this before arriving, so no pool). This was not conveyed in ad.
This hotel is at a great location. The staff is very nice and friendly.
