Great Location.
Ovolo The Valley is a great place to stay! The area is far enough away from Fortitude Valley that noise and late night revellers is not an issue but close enough to walk to if that's your thing. There are plenty of good bars and restaurants in close vicinity.The rooms are clean and spacious, as are the bathrooms. All staff were helpful and friendly from the room attendants to the front desk staff, and any issue raised was dealt with swiftly. Chrome casting from your device to the TV is available, and is a great service that more Hotels should offer. My only negative with Ovolo is that, whilst they offer a free mini-bar, which should be a positive, the fridge did not keep anything in it cold, as such any time you wanted a drink you needed to call reception for ice, which was not always immediately dispatched. From chatting to other guests, this seemed to be an issue in rooms other than mine. Fix the fridges and I wouldn't have had an issue during my eight night stay.
