Location was right in the Pelourinho, very convenient. We could sit in the open lobby and watch the street life, which is in Carnaval mode now. Our room was great, with a balcony overlooking the bay. Huge bed snd shower!

i stayed here with my husband and a 15 month old baby for 3 nights and all i can say is - AMAZING!!! The location is just so perfect, you right at the main squares. The customer service is amazing. They offered us two caiprinhas as welcome drinks. The room had a beautiful view of the All saints Bay. Our room had calidornia King bed!! You can have food at the swimming pool as well. And my oh my their food!! Letr me start with breakfast. They dont do the usual buffet style breakfast. They make fresh food for you (freshly cut fruits, fresh fruit juice, eggs howver you want, coffee, fresh breads, carrot cake, banana cake....etc.). Then comes their regular meals - delicious. Honestly the best meals we have on our 10 day trip in Brazil. I can say this enough.. but just book this place if you are coming to Salvador. They are amazing!!

    Salvador trip

Great little boutique hotel, love the location in the old town. The staff were always helpful and friendly, the owners presence visible and also very nice guy. The first night we could hear the music from across the street however it didn’t bother us. We definitely book again.

    Wonderful Casa Amarelindo!

Staff, front desk and restaurant, was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is very well located. Rooms in the back were quiet, even though the street in front of the hotel is very busy with music and pedestrians. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious (including a large bathroom). Staff was very accommodating and patient with our questions and inquiries. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We visited Salvador for 5 days; we enjoyed the sights around Pelourinho, the tour of the city and surrounding areas, and our day trips to Praia do Forte and Ilha dos Frades and Itaparica Island. I should say, however, that our stay at Casa do Amarelindo highly contributed to a most pleasant visit to Salvador. The location, right in the middle of the Pelourinho district was very convenient. The room we stayed in had a wonderful view of the lower part of the city and the open ocean. The breakfasts were truly outstanding and the staff was always pleasant and most helpful. A nice touch was the occasional contacts with the owner who made sure everything was right and satisfactory to his guests. Special mention to the assistance provided by hotel staff in communications with a tour company to resolve a problem with a forgotten item during a tour. Additionally, I would highly recommend taking the optional transfers arranged by the hotel to and from the airport. The drivers were most punctual and accommodating. If visiting Salvador in the future, I would certainly stay again at Casa do Amarelindo. It’s a lovely place.

From Los Angeles California Willie, Tony and Johanna we want to thank you all for everything! What a lovely hotel full of history in a wonderful part of Salvador, the Pelourinho. Excellent hotel. The hotel has an excellent location. Receptionists speak various languages staff is available to help 24/7. The Service was excellent! Decor of hotel is amazing. We would certainly stay again and recommend. Visitors are very privileged to stay in this remarkable place that offers so much history. The location is excellent. The breakfast is wonderful. Keeping up a hotel like this is not easy, so we want to thank everyone in the hotel started from Gillis & Didier to the cooks. Especially thank you to our favorite person Helder! We love your caipirinha’s and thank you for always making them the best in Salvador Bahia! Breakfast was served at the table rather than a buffet, a delicious selection of courses and plenty of it! Wonderful! We know of too many places all over the world that do serve breakfast on the table, however, nothing like this hotel! You will not find any other place like this one in Salvador. Rare! From the time we arrived at the airport to the time we left Salvador Bahia the entire time was exceptional. So, we know many of the best hotels. Through the world this one ranks highly number one! We hope the hotel has a very long life. The Staff is wonderful, and they go beyond their duties to help their guesses. Thank you to Lucas, Luis, Marcos, Marcello, Fernando, Jackso
