Cramped hotel with style and good service.
Great location and excellent staff. The roof top bar is a must, but of course the drinks are expensive. We stayed in the classic room, which was really too small, with nowhere to put anything. Ok for a weekend stay, but if you are staying more than 4 nights go for a bigger room, if you can afford it. There was a very slight smell of sewage in the room, but we think it was coming up from the street, as we could smell it in the garden too. Paris is expensive of course, but overall we thought this hotel was slightly overpriced and too cramped.

We initially made the reservation for the wrong days, but wanted to make sure we got the room we wanted (Eiffel Tower view). We used hotels.com's online assistance and then confirmed directly with the hotel. The process was smooth and easy. The hotel itself was great! We arrived early and were able to store our bags. While the room was small, the design of the acoustics didn't make it feel like you were in a closet. This hotel provided a blow dryer for use, which didn't seem to be the case for many of the places we stayed in France. Even if you have a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower, I highly recommend making a reservation for the rooftop. If you don't have one, they'll try to accomodate you, but they'll make you feel like it's a pretty big inconvenience. It is close by various metro stops and popular landmarks (Notre Dame, Sainte Chappelle, Luxembourg Gardens). Bo + Mie is also right around the corner and is great for a quick breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location - close to metro, restaurants, bars and easy access to all the sites. The entire hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, especially Paul who checked us in. We got a free upgrade to a terrace room with a view of the Eiffel Tower which was amazing. The room was tiny, but I was prepared for that. Wish I could have taken the bed and pillows home with me. All were perfect and I slept great.
