The breakfast area was big & bright. Every area in the hotel we were at was spotless! We wish the pool had adult swim from 10:00pm to 11:00pm. Perhaps more natural breakfast offerings, real cooked oatmeal &/or grits. Lance was outstanding helping us late at night with questions.

I expect more from Hampton's but this place did not deliver! Front desk clerk was very nice and greeted us whenever he saw us. But the hotel is several short-staffed. Trash lined the 2nd floor aisle by rooms creating a horrific stench and they would sit and sit and sit - I saw a empty yogurt container on the floor 2 full days! I read some reviews of people complaining of bugs - well.... leaving food containers laying around does not help with that! We were told NO MAID SERVICE during our stay. Fine - we don't usually want anyone going in our room while we stay - BUT without maid service - the price of the room should be cheaper than we paid. Breakfast fare was okay but about same you would get anywhere else - even the discounted # named motels! Not enough towels/wash clothes for 2 people for 2 days. We had to ask and seems to me if you don't have maid service then well stock the rooms. The TV in the room had basic cable - for a Hampton Inn at this price - I expect much more television options than that. Overall a disappointment. For sure, I will NOT stay here again.

Staff was always friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. (Charging stations, fridge, microwave). Would have loved a night light and a pad of paper. Will stay again. Great location close to shops and restaurants.

Overall had a great experience. The hotel main areas appeared and smelled clean. The front desk staff was always very polite and greeted every time we would pass by them. Breakfast was decent. It was nice that the hotel didnt seem packed the 3 nights we stayed. The carpet in the room could use some TLC, either cleaning or just change it out to a moppable surface for sanitary reasons especially having a toddler that wants to play all over the floor. I would stay again in the future. Plenty of food options nearby and about 5mins to my parent’s house.

I don't give a care about the smoking vs non smoking of marijuana. I have come to equate it with tobacco. With that being said, one should smell neither in the lobby of a business. (Not at the front door but deep into the lobby/dining area). The room smelled of fresh weed as well.

Staff was very accommodating. The only glitch was, a young soccer team and their parents, where very noisy in the hall at night and mostly in the early a. m. Alot of doors slamming at 5:30am. Perhaps they could have been contained on one floor. Room was very clean and breakfast was very nice.
