This was a nice clean hotel. The building is several hundred years old, so the bathroom is TINY. As a bigger guy, it was very tight in the shower. Otherwise a quaint, clean little bed and breakfast feeling hotel right in the heart of the old town. The staff was very friendly.

excellent location, particularly since we were visiting the Christmas markets in the Altstadt. Really liked the set up for breakfast, which was in the restaurant attached to the hotel.

The beds were amazing.... We each had our own amazing, soft, fluffy duvet that almost prevented us from leaving ;-) The breakfast was large and the staff fantastic... Also... we had an amazing tub and a view of the castle....

We were lucky that the Christmas Market had started, some stands were right on front, we could see from our window. The hotel couldn’t have a better location, the street were situated takes you to all the shopping areas, and the Old Bridge is like 5 min away. The station for the castle funicular is like 3-5 mins away. Breakfast was also very good. The hotel has a restaurant which is also very convenient. I would recommend.

The Goldener Falke is located in a city square with perfect walking access to everything we wanted to see. There are plentiful shops and restaurants nearby and walking distance to the castle on the hill.

Fantastic location with a good restaurant and breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, there was a mosquito living in our room which we could hear at night but couldn’t catch. As a result we were bitten several times, including on the face. We did tell the hotel but nothing appeared to be done.
