"It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!"

"Great food options, and direct access to the beach! Their Beach Combers Bar and Grill was delicious, the ocean view was phenomenal, the balconies do leak water from the AC if you’re below the top floor which I thought we were getting a cooler dumped on us at first, but outside of that and some slight updates, this was a great experience! The rooms are kept clean, staff is super friendly and accommodating. "

"This hotel worked fine for our family of 5, the room was a good size, and beds were comfortable. The property is quite old and a bit run down, however it actually was very clean. The pool area was very nice, and great beach access! Our room was very clean, some things were updated like the floors and sink. It was very easy to request clean towels, toilet paper, etc. It is a good option for those on a budget wanting to stay right on the beach. Staff we encountered were friendly. "

"Saltaire Cottages was a great place to stay for a few days. It was cleaned and had what we needed for those few days. When you drive up it seems to be a little outdated. The inside of our cottage had been redone and it was fine. The location is great, right across the street with their own beach access. The beaches were not so crowded on any day that you felt like you were right on top of each other."

Live KDH and probably take 10-12 trips here each year, all seasons, sometimes a week but most often weekends. Not my open for late dinners, limited delivery options. Sadly seems to be declining but I have been coming for 40 years so i keep returning

We found this location to be a good "central" location for visiting all of the Outer Banks. We could get to the northernmost area of Corolla within an hour; and we could get to the southernmost area of Frisco in just over an hour.

"The location was perfect for what we needed for our trip. We will definitely be back. The front desk personal was truly helpful along with other staff. We loved our stay, if we didn't have to go back to work, we would have stayed longer."

"Text message service for maintenance was not working. Rejected all messages. Could get porch door fixed. Kids had to go through master bedroom to porch."
"They were under construction outside but they did not work while we were there, pool construction not complete yet. Someone had logged off from the television channels, but we did not request anyone come and fix it. I am sure they would have! Great stay!"

"This is a great little Inn. It seems to still have renovations. It was clean. The doors were a concern for me. Didn’t feel secure but I didn’t see it as a problem. The water was turned off by the city and I wasn’t able to have a shower. This would have been something to inform the guests with prior to arrival or at least the morning of. "
