The hotel was easily accessible from the JR Ikebukuro station. Surrounds was ok, convenience stores around! The room was a bit small but liveable. The condition of the room was not the best… moldy walls and a bit warm unless you open the window. Otherwise it was pretty ok. Good service and daily housekeeping.

This is a nice hotel for short business stay with budget and probably for sightseeing in the Tokyo area. I was staying for a few weeks and not for comfort so if you are looking for a comfortable hotel stay, this may not be your immediate choice.

This hotel was roughly a 5 minute walk from the JR Ikebukuro station if you're not carrying any luggage. Unfortunately, none of the exits have elevators, so if you're bringing a lot of luggage with you, the walk between the station to this hotel will take longer. The room I stayed in was very basic and very small, which is typical of a business hotel room in Tokyo. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel does have a washer and dryer located outside of the building and they cost 100 yen each to run. You do need to leave the key at the front desk whenever you leave the building, but there was always someone at the desk whenever I exited and entered the building. There are also a lot of convenience stores and dining options within a block from the hotel!

I like the staff’s friendliness and even though the building is a bit outdated, it’s clean. Just don’t like the voices of the visitor that I can hear from next door. Still I love my stay here for 5 nights. Will definitely come back.
