Central Istanbul neighborhood Sultanahmet—in the Fatih district—is home to the awe-inspiring pinnacle of Byzantine architecture, the Hagia Sophia, one of the most impressive and innovative buildings of its time. At Topkapi Palace, marvel at the gems, gold and, priceless works of art in the Treasury, and visit the Harem—once home to the sultan’s concubines.
The Blue Mosque, with its 6 towering minarets, takes its name from the myriad of blue-green tiles interspersed with stained-glass windows of its interior. The Istanbul Archaeology Museums house spectacular exhibits from various ancient civilizations across 3 separate sites in the neighborhood.

Nice stay at this hotel, Ibrahim helped as soon as I got to the hotel, he showed me on the map he provided to me where we were located and how to go around the city. Aznar helped me with the luggage, he is very friendly and respectful with guest. Very good breakfast, nice hotel room, clean, clean and nice private bathroom. Very comfortable stay. Selim the night receptionist is very friendly and eager to help his customers. This hotel have a nice touch of offering hot tea at the hotel lobby for its customers, and biscuits too. Also on a rainy day the provide umbrellas at the hotel entrance for their clients to be able to move around in the city or their whereabouts. Very nice touch of making things easy in Istanbul.

My bath didn't have a ventilation and we couldn't stay in room after using washroom. They didn't have elevator and we had to go 3 floors up and down.

We stayed here from Nov 10-17. On day 2, upon returning to hotel exhausted after a day of sightseeing, we didn't find a single drop of water. The hotel kept on giving false deadlines, but we had to go bed without even getting to clean our faces and feet. Next morning when we went downstairs to inquire about the water problem, reception staff Mr Ibrahim instead of offering to help us told us rudely that though the hotel was full, only my husband and I were complaining. He said 10 million people in Istanbul were facing this crisis due to ongoing construction activities at the Marmara sea front. This was a blatant lie because only a few unprepared idiots in the Sultanhmet area suffered. The hotel was not even keen to give us bottled water for drinking and toilet purposes and we had to ask for these. On day 5, we returned to the hotel to find it without electricity. Its power backup system was not working. They could manage to restore it in one part of the hotel by 1 pm the next day. We had to shift to another room, which to our shock, was strewn with broken glass pieces and I cut my feet accidentally. When I called up the reception to clean up the room immediately, the receptionist tried to put the blame on me. The hotel did apologise and promised to give a discount on the room fee as compensation but finally did not offer any. They merely provided us a one-way airport transfer, a standard freebie in many hotels for guests who stay for 7 nights.

This family owned and run small hotel is about 5 minutes' walk from the Blue Mosque. Well appointed rooms, quiet, with nice roof terrace overlooking water and city. Very nice breakfast buffet. Service impeccable and very friendly.

This is a really nice boutique hotel in a great location. It's right around the corner from the hippodrome and about a 10 minute walk to Hagia Sofia but it's far enough from the crowds. Everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful. Complimentary afternoon tea on the terrace was a nice touch...
