4/10 Fair

Owner doesn’t care to maintain elevator.
A completely disappointing stay from a chain that I have come to expect better of. The elevators had signs in them that indicated there were issues. A sign stated “if doors do not automatically open please press the open button.” This was not a new sign and something that this hotel felt was okay to for their guests to experience. During our stay my son was going up to the room in the elevator alone when a power failure occurred. He tried the call button and the emergency button and neither worked. I went to management to let him know my child was trapped in the elevator and his lack of care was alarming. Even more alarming is that they have an elevator that does not function or meet elevator safety standards and they were aware of it. The chair in the room was filthy. The floor was unvacuumed. The signature cinnamon rolls that Holiday Inn is known for were replaced by a cheaper boxed version of mini cinimon rolls from Sams Club. Very unhappy.
