Very clean very pleasant room only note there were dryers in hall way drying the carpet!
The hotel is nice looking and we loved the tub, but it's on a busy street and trucks started rolling by as early as 5 am. We had a late night and are from another time zone so we weren't happy about getting woke up at least 8 times that morning. While the hotel cannot control the trucks outside, they can control knocking on guest's doors repeatedly in the morning. They even came into our room uninvited at 9:30 am because we didn't answer the door - sadly my wife had just gotten out of the shower and was faced with a maid and a maintenance guy. It was totally inappropriate, embarrassing, and ruined our morning. When we reported the incident we were blamed for not putting a 'do not disturb sign on the door'. Check out wasn't until 11 so I feel like they owe us an apology for the invasion of privacy.
We found an issue with our room after we got back from going out, so it was late. The staff was amazing in correcting the situation and were very friendly, even though it was late. The restaurant was booked for both night we were there, but we were able to take dessert back to our rooms. They have excellent tiramisu! Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We will be back!
The bathroom was so dated, I Have nevwr seen anything like it. Tile and wall peeling off. No Tub bit with the conditions I would have never used it. I could not believe I paid $425.00 off season for this room!
This hotel is ok, but don’t expect to be wowed. For the price, it’s a bit rundown and the air conditioning never worked properly. The room was so warm when we entered, even with the ac on. We opened windows, but didn’t want to sleep with the street noise and hoped the AC would cool it at night. Woke up sweating at 4 am and had to open window to the traffic. Not a restful night.
As perfect as one could expect. The girl at the front desk was dumb.
The shower was slate tile and I could see tons of mildew in the grout. I grabbed a wash rag and scrubbed it with just hand soap and elbow grease and got most all of it cleaned off.
I have stayed at The White Buffalo Club before. It was an excellent property and the staff was great. This time it was very disappointing. My flight got in late and I called numerous times to get in contact with the front desk, the phone lines were down or no one was answering. When I arrived at the hotel check in was adequate. I went to the hotel bar/restaurant 30 minutes before it was to close. Our group even said we would like just a cocktail after our long flight. They did let us come in and order one drink. The hotel staff was not friendly and we felt as though we were a burden being there. The next night we went back to the hotel restaurant/bar for an appetizer and a drink before dinner. We were going to sit at the bar area like we had the night before and were told by the male server that we were not allowed to. There was another gentleman there already and we pointed that out and he said that he was a VIP and we were not. Needless to say that did not bode well. We did not go back the rest of our trip. It’s a lovely facility it has a great location but the staff definitely needs to be redirected in the treatment of their paying/returning guests. I was very disappointed and will more than likely not be a third time guest at this hotel.
The room was really nice, and we loved the washer and dryer. The hotel staff was very rude and non helpful. Some young millennials that really don’t care about helping. This hotel has ZERO amenities. The hotel shuttle can’t be used. For the price, expected a lot more. Brought us breakfast every morning, due to Covid, and that was nice. We couldn’t get into the restaurant or use the bar? It was always busy with RESERVATIONS. They were doing construction next door, woke us up at 630am every morning. The AC in the room wouldn’t go below 68 degrees, and it honestly felt a lot warmer than that. Didn’t sleep with any covers on, and for $300 a night, that’s really unacceptable! We also asked about the shuttle to the airport, the millennials said they don’t do that, but would get us a taxi for $48, and the going rate for all taxis is $40??? Super disappointed and will stay somewhere else next time we return to Jackson Hole.
This is a very very nice place to stay There is a lot to do within walking distance
