Clean and comfortable. Lacks personality/ atmosphere. Very standard accommodation. Great location, everything walk-able in Nelson Bay town centre or a short drive for an adventure in Port Stephens. Would stay here again. Book a studio at a minimum (we changed rooms on arrival)

I don’t like how the pools closes at 6pm regardless of day light savings. We complained about the room cleanliness and balcony spider webs everywhere and they responded with giving me a full refund and I can go somewhere else instead of fixing the issue to make a comfortable stay

Wouldn't stay again...
I wouldn't stay here again or recomend to anyone, room has not been maintained very well. A small 2 seater lounge was the only furniture in front of the TV which was sitting on a very old knocked around tv stand. The front door wouldn't close by itself without a strong push. The wardrobe doors didn't close properly. We were in Port Stephens looking at buying a unit in another complex managed by Oakes, now no thank you.

Room wasn’t well vacuumed, behind the bedside tables and bed were very dusty. We were in a noisy apartment near the lifts and stairwell and could hear everything. Amenities were good and staff very friendly.

Mid-week break away
I stayed here for a midweek getaway with my daughter. We had a good sized room, with everything we needed, although I was disappointed we didn’t have a balcony. It’s location is a bonus, as it’s walking distance to the shops, cafes and marina. Also the local Woolworths is very close for everything you need. I would stay here again, but ask for a room away from the road next time.
