Robbing you blind
I had an established price through Hotels.com and expected to pay that amount. At check in, I was charged a ridiculous amount for a deposit, and was told it would be refunded within 5 days of the end of my stay. When I went to check out, they charged me a whole other amount and said it would be refunded in 5 days. It's been 90 days since my stay and I have been refunded nothing. It seems like this hotel is trying to get away with not refunding and keeping deposit money for themselves. I will never use this chain or any IHG hotel again.

Great Service!
What can I say. This is a classic old hotel with grand ceilings, grand lobby and excellent staff. The room was spacious but just a little "funky" and not in a good way. The furniture needs updating as it is just worn out and old. Dark. The whole place is not well lit, from the foyer to the lobby to the hallways and rooms the whole place feels depressed. Now we were there on a rainy weekend but I can't help but feeling with a coat of paint, some brighter lighting and maybe a little atmosphere music this place could be a 5 star hotel. The restaurant B&O was good. Again great service but again a little dingy..So close.

Not a comfortable stay
The room looked overall neat and luxurious. The entire mattress however was sinking a lot. Had 3 nights of uncomfortable stay. The shower was non-functional and was just spraying water in all directions. There was no trash can in the bathroom. I chose this over Hilton to get a good experience, but was clearly not a best decision.
