Penasco del sol is good for its location and the pool is really nice, but i feel that the room was dissapointing. I stayed in a double bed, pool view with balcony room and it was just okay. the room did not come with a mini fridge(which i feel like should be standard at this day and age), i felt like the towels smelled weird, and the beds were a bit firm for my liking. the walls are paper thin so you can hear Everyting that goes on in the rooms next to yours. i think that if i do stay here again, ill have to pay extra to get a better room. FYI the Hotel has its own parking for which you have to pay $10 a day for VALET to park in. otherwise you have to park it in the public parking area down the street. I would recommend paying the extra fee since the public parking down the street has several signs stating "park at your own risk"

The pictures online are NOT what you will get. They are either filtered or altered. The condition of the "premium" rooms is FAR from what you will see in the pictures, they are actually in need of a renovation. The location of the hotel, and especially the staff is excellent.

When we arrived at 1:30 pm, we were told the rooms were not ready. The hotel was not busy and we were not offered anything to make up for the delay. The rooms need upgrading as does the hotel in general. We did not feel they were happy to have customers even during this pandemic. We will not stay here again.

Loved it! Beds and bedding are so comfortable. Just the coffee maker was dated and spilled water. Other than than everything was great. Everyone is so nice and professional. Thanks for a great stay . I will stay there again!

We had a great time. the staff is awesome. I did not like the fact that you could not take beverages to pool with you. water pressure is a little low and grounds were not always clean. prices and surrounding area is very affordable for the working man or woman.
