Excellent stay, the villa was just what we were after. The wifi was a bit poor in our villa but that didn’t bother us too much. It’s in a great location, close to so many amazing restaurants and very close to the beach. The staff are as friendly as they come and would do anything to help you enjoy your stay.

Villa Mahapala - Not on the recommendation list
The reviews are really mixed about Villa Mahapala and I was hoping the better ones were more accurate. Overall very disappointing given how expensive this was. The rooms are very tired and for the price the linen felt unclean, towels had holes in them, the shower stopped working on the last day and the level of care was really low. No turn down service and had to ask repeatedly for the basics. No glasses, menus or bottle opener in the room. Bath blocked and toilet stopped working while I was there. The staff try however I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
