Very good
This hotel is conveniently located to all things Mt. Rushmore. Property is clean and updated. Our only complaint is that the rooms were a little on the small side. All in all, we would consider staying here again.

Poor
Worst hotel ever stayed in
Shoebox size room falsely advertised, dirty, no soap for hand washing or bathing, lumpy beds, slow toilet, rude front desk staff, no juice in juice dispenser, no basic milk even in a sealed carton for my child. Complained to Angel in front desk staff and later denied my complaints to Hotels.com staff who I was complaining through again. Ruined my birthday family trip after 8 months of staying home due to COVID

Good
Ok but not great.
The hotel is ok. Staff is nice, especially the cleaning staff. Walls are really thin - you can hear everyone coming back from the bars late at night. The pool is filled with kids - it would be nice if the hotel made the hot tub for adults only, rather than letting little kids use it as a play pool. Rooms are very small, especially with two double beds. You can barely walk around if there's another person in the room. Things seemed clean enough, except the carpet was really dirty. Don't walk around in bare feet or socks! Beds are comfortable, soft sheets, great water pressure.

Fair
Very friendly staff but didn’t like the hotel itself. They advertised it was a remodel but it smelled bad the rooms were very cramped.

The property is located at the edge of the town of Keystone in the hill. It’s an easy walk to this section of town and the various shops. The town starts to close down for the season around the middle of October and we found very few places to eat. Many shops are closed limiting the ability to browse and shop. I will happily come back earlier in the year and likely stay here again.

We were in a tiny handicapped room and do not need those facilities. Great location.

Nice
Nice hotel. Room a bit small because of bunk beds-but since we wanted a queen bed it couldn’t be helped. Staff very nice & helpful. Breakfast consisted of apple, muffin, fruit & fiber bar and bottled water. Coffee & juice available in breakfast room. Other guests noisy. Shower drained VERY well! Parking by bldg A tight but adequate.

Mini vacation
Stood there for a weekend getaway. It was a good time, and the hotel was great. Only thing I’d change about it is the fact that there were so many beetles all over the building and ground and I found one in the room as well. Other then that, it was nice.
