Great stay in the historic center of Otranto!
Palazo Papaleo a great hotel in the historic center of Otranto. Since it is located in a limited traffic zone (LTZ) the reception staff will pick you up with a golf cart. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace!

Best Hotel in Otranto
This was a lovely hotel in the direct center of Otranto. Lovely management and the property is stunning and across from the central cathedral. The rooms were spacious and modern, lovely patios, and the rooftop restaurant and vista was lovely. The management was incredibly helpful and cheery - this was my favorite stay during our weeklong road trip through the Puglia region.

Perfect location in the Centro Storico of Otranto. I would rate this hotel with nearly 100 %. Extremely friendly staff, always eager to help. Ckean room, nice bedroom and - for Italy important - the king beds!!! We stayed here for three days. And were sorry to leave.

Beautiful staff, wonderful cleaning staff
We really loved that it was boutique (small exclusive amount of guests), had everything we needed- good breakfast, fabulous location next to the cathedral and 2 mins walk to castle. The cleaning staff were exceptional. Because the hotel is within the main walls of the castle area - they pick you up from the nearest street with a buggy to move your luggage as you cannot drive up to the hotel. The restaurants surrounding were fantastic. The solarium area on the roof is great with a jacuzzi and also chef for the guests at night if you would like to dine at the hotel for guests only. It also has a lovely air conditioned sitting room. Great value for the money we spent and so so charming.
