Amberton Cozy Hotel Kaunas

We specifically booked this hotel because of the location and air conditioning in the rooms. However during our 2 night stay the AC was not functional. We asked for a fan - none were available. Our window barely opened and there was no air flow in the room. It was a miserable 2 nights.

Breakfast very poor ! Is not up to 4 stars. Lights is not on outside the hotel when is dark.

Great location. Parking directly out front. Very good breakfast, large very comfortable new room.

super bad experience. for everything you should pay extra - parking extra, water in the room - extra, bath cream - extra. breakfast was very poor, the coffee didnt look like a coffee - smelling weird and was from uncleaned coffee machine. everyone in the breakfast area was confused seeing that. the stuff is super apathetic. Would never recommend.

This was a big dissapointment the hotel claims to be a 4 star but was really a two star at best. Our bedsheets weren't changed for three days during our 5 day stay. We had no clean towels for two days. The shower was a joke it had no pressure and would cut out for first three days so my gf couldn't shower. It also lost heating and changed temperature for three days was unacceptable considering it was minus numbers outside. The room it self was showing a lack of maintenance the door handle was broken and the bathroom Tao produced bad smells when used and the bath didn't work despite me asking to to get it fixed it never was. Not worth the money in the slightest I have stayed all over the world in 4 stars this is a poor hotel really. Would not recommend at all.

Good service, clean and lovely room. Nice breakfast

Hotel itself is near the town hall and old town kaunas. 45minutes by bus from kaunas airport to the city center and you pay 1 euro or 12 euro taxi and 30mins ride. The hotel location is superb, breakfast is ok, assortment of cheese, cold cuts, fruits, cereals, cakes and each person get 1 hot breakfast, tea and regular coffee and juices are included and if you.want capucino or latte thats extra. The hotel doesn't have elevator and they gave me room 303 which is in the 3rd floor. Then shower is clogged and nkt draining properly! I called the reception and told them about it and i waited 15minutes for the solution and they told me there is no room avail so they will fix it the next day but i told them i need to take a shower and the shower is not draining and flooded and i told them that i will call hotel.com and then after 15 minutes they called mw back saying there is a splution and they will transfer me to another room, well it's not clogged but the toilet is dirty so it looks like they just changed the sheets and did not clean the bathroom, no shampoo or anything and only 1 big towel and small towel so i have to ask thwm for extra big towel. They transfered me to 3rd floor in the other side of the building.The shower is not good sprinkling everywhere! Also problem at night. On our first day i dont hear anything but on our 2nd and 3rd night i cant sleep because its too noisy and i can hear all the people talking from outside even until 3am!. I am not happy with my stay.

We arrived at our hotel to be told that they had over booked and that they had arranged that we stay at another hotel. They organised a taxi to bring us to our hotel. I have to say the hotel we stayed in was very nice and the staff were excellent. I was disappointing that we were not told of the mix up in advance by Expedia.

Everything was perfect , nice location , peoples food .
