I stayed at The Electric on a Saturday night recently and I was very pleased with it. It was a good price for a Saturday night, it was very clean and it seems to be pretty new. It is in an excellent position with its rear door off an alley leading from Lt Malop St where the pub and eatery action appears to be centred. I appreciated the heavy sound-blocking door on the room. One point is that you need to pick up the keys from the office a few blocks away, rather than go directly to the accommodation, but it was only a few minutes walk. I would stay there again.
