stay here only as a last resort
i'll start with the negatives in brief: 1 room was dusty and in need of renovation on arrival. 2 sinks blocked. 3 showers blocked so couldn't shower for more than a minute before waiting a minute for it to go down. 4 toilets were in literal cupboards, could barely fit. 5 shower intermittently scalding and ice cold with changing pressures too. 6 couldn't sit on bed without it wheeling across the floor. 7 red marks on body after showers (smelt bleachy after?). pros 1 bed was comfy enough. 2 plenty of free coffee. 3 lots of places to hang clothes. 4 very close walking distance to the train station/bus stops the pros weren't even worthy of mention but broke up the review. if you have literally no where else to stay then go for it but it's not worth the price you pay that i almost considered a hostel for 3 nights. if i could turn back the time and not book here, i'd probably have been happier with my trip.

Wouldn’t pay a £1 to stay here again!
Wouldn’t pay a £1 to stay here again, Room 9 was dirty with an eggy/damp smell with parts of the floor detached and skirting boards full of thick dust There was no pillow case just a pillow wrapped in a blanket and the mattress was full of stains and random hairs The tv was falling off the wall There was a cup with teeth marks in it and no tea spoon to make a drink with No plug in the sink ( not that I wanted to use the water as it was cloudy ) The border of the shower was falling off the wall and flapped when you walked past it The toilet was in the hall and had a poster allocating it to my room however it was constantly being used my others. This was fine as I actually couldn’t use the toilet because it was so small and I’m 6ft 2 and couldn’t close the folding doors. Staff were unfriendly and not conversational when addressing my concerns about the toilet and the smell I was just informed “it had been cleaned” Continuous noise from other rooms throughout the night over the 3 weeknight I was there The whole hotel is tired and in need of some refurbishing if they are going to charge £40 + a night.

It was a terrible room. The door lock isn't woking, the water won't go down the sink, the toilet seat isn't fit at all.
