This stay was a terrible experience. I came to town for a family emergency. There was an error made on the booking side. The night staff was very accommodating, but the morning staff was very dismissive. I thought this would be my go to hotel for lodging in St. Louis, but not after this. For a hotel chain that tries to tout customer service, I was disappointed. My previous stays were great. A true sign of customer service is how accommodating the staff can be towards the customer. I was shown no grace by the supervisor that day.

The hotel is very interesting in the best way, very cozy. The restaurant and coffee shops are also great. The coffee shop was not very clean, even in the morning we got there as soon as they opened and it is not cleaned. The floor had lots of crumbs and stuff all over it and the chairs were pretty nasty. Our room was nice and big however same as the coffee shop lacked in the cleaning department. Our shower faucet was broken and instead of body wash the shower had hand wash instead which was odd. The bathroom also don't have a fan so showers get very steamy. The room carpet was not vacuumed. The beds thankfully were clean. Overall the hotel is nice just needs to up their cleaning protocols for sure. The staff was very friendly.
