Convenient location,access to supermarket, clean room, friendly lobby & wait staff. There is a 30 minute wait for Ala Carte however the buffet sufficient and available in the restaurant. Water needs to be served when seated in restaurant and servers need to be attentive (sometimes it was hard to find someone) and smile more. Suggestion: a shuttle between Stanley , Hilton & Holiday Inn to allow guests to travel to/from neighbouring hotels to experience additional dining options for breakfast/ lunch and Dinner. All guests are to be addressed as Sir/ Ma’am / Madam as a courtesy and in English, unless staff the is addressed/ greeted by the guest in pidgin (tok pisin) or other local language. Assuming guests speak tok pisin or addressing a guest as susa (sis) is unprofessional. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend Stanley as a place to stay.

Every time I stay at the Stanley, I'm reminded why I keep choosing it. It's lovely, comfortable, clean with excellent service and food. I have yet to find something to complain about - and this stay was no different. Five stars across the board in every way.

Not a cheap option
The Stanley is somewhat run down, the general cleanliness around the building is not up to standard, items in the room were poorly finished and the rainshower did not work properly. On the plus side the pool and pool area are nicel. As pne of the most expensive places to stay in PoM it does not represent good value for money and you'd be far better off staying at the Hilton
