2 days before my stay, i had reached out to the apartment via Expedia and directly - to request for early check-in as i was coming in to JB in the morning. However there were no response from them at all (despite the info provided is to request at least 24 hours in advance). When i got there, i had to frantically look for a contact number to reach out to, so that i could get the check-in details. Nothing was provided to me. Finally when i got a contact number, they informed me that there's no chance of morning check-in (this could have been told to me 2 days before so that i could plan accordingly). I was waiting with 2 tired young kids. Eventually had to find places to visit since our official check in time was in 4 hours. Check-in process was so-so, not very straightforward but i managed it eventually. Got the apartment & was glad that it at least looked decent. After spending some time there, realised that it wasnt very clean as mentioned. There were stains on the coffee table, bedsheets etc. Toilets had a stale smell. To my horror, i used the soap provided in the bathroom and was so disgusted as it smelled like drain water!! We couldnt use it so we had to buy our own for the 2 nights stay. I had booked the apartment for 5 pax but only 4 towels were given - which were low quality type. No bathroom mats were given. Bathroom had wet and dry area. But while showering, the water will start ponding and will get into the dry area, which makes the entire bathroom wet.
